PAUL WOZNEY « » : Speaker, I rise today to recognize iShine Optical Outlet, a brand-new Sackville business that celebrated its grand opening in December and now provides neighbourly care to eyes across Sackville.
iShine was founded by a wife-and-husband duo, Kelly Yang and Andrew Shang, who arrived from China in 2022 with their two daughters. Along with her family, Kelly brings with her to Sackville over 15 years of experience in the field, having owned an optical store for 15 years before emigrating to Canada. iShine takes its name from the business’ primary goal: to ensure that every customer is left with both their vision and spirit shining after each visit.
The team at iShine has expressed to us their gratitude at the opportunity to care for their neighbours and to work in a community that has already shown them immense support.
I ask that all present join me in returning that gratitude and welcoming iShine Optical Outlet to Nova Scotia.
