PAUL WOZNEY « » : Speaker, I can tell you, they have such options.
Today I stand in recognition of a rising star business which, despite being open for less than a year, has become a Sackville landmark. Casa di Stefano crafts wood-fired cuisine of such fine quality that it suggests it’s the result of lifelong pursuit. In reality, it’s four creators hailing from very different industries: pastry, construction, accounting, and engineering.
What began as backyard cooking in my aunt’s homemade oven has, for 10 months, wowed Sackville with its combinations of Italian-cured meats and Nova Scotian cheese. They have a different oven now, built by namesake Stefano Ferrara in Naples, Italy. With it, they have served over 40,000 guests and been plied with awards. I know that a second oven is en route from Italy as we speak for use in our new First Lake Drive location when it opens in May.
Speaker, I ask all present to join me in congratulating the Casa di Stefano family on their success and for best wishes for continued success for many years to come.
